Henry Cavill can’t catch a break can he? His first two outings have him laboring under the directorial choices of Zack Snyder and the third where Cavill succeeds in finally bringing some of Superman’s mojo back... here we are talkin’ bout that ‘stache because Paramount decides to be a dick about it.

The problem for me is his performance is so internal.... that his character is motivated by internal pain.... which makes him “Sadfleck”... then the next thing you know he’s cracking a joke like Tony Stark because Wheedon grafted that personality trait on him.
