I know a lot of users favor KeePass, but I could never get into it. What a complex user interface! I like Password Corral, which has these killer functions:

@lartro: Great entry, I didn't see it before I posted. Yeah, and after the RSS feed, there'll be a Gadget you can put on your desktop, that'll stream your health info over the Internet to your desktop. Then, you'll have some kind of widget where you can embed your health data into your MySpace page...
I agree with what others have said. Honestly, I try not to do business with folks who rely on Microsoft software, but that is tough to know and then do. I personally am mortified to think that Microsoft software would be `protecting` my personal health information.
I just hate the fact that everything good and cool about the Web eventually places advertisement revenue above content and customer satisfaction. Yeah, I know, I shouldn't bitch since I'm getting free content. It's just a sad commentary about the world, is all.
I agree with TWOSOX about Pivot Tables, they're the bomb. But the powerful thing about AutoFilter is that you can choose `custom` and add partial data in there to filter information. Excel will display a count of the matches in the status bar, which is also cool.
Does 7.4 run on Linux (sarcasm)?
Wow. I mean, wow. I'm proud that Gina was highlighted in a fairly high-profile article, but good Lord.
Thanks so much, Kyle! I applied the article's suggested settings and am now much more pleased with OOo's performance both on my Windows and Linux machines. Thanks for the tip!
Gina, I love Netstumbler and have been using it for years. But this post is misleading; you can't manage any networks or network connections with this tool...
This works great in conjunction with a little `Google Map This` bookmarklet that I have; it allows me to simply select some text, and then invoke my script to get a map. Thanks, Lifehacker!
How does kflickr compare to jUploadr?
I think the command in Ubuntu should really be gksudo gnome-theme-manager...
@RickS: You hit it on the head. Ubuntu (and Linux in general) is great, powerful, and flexible. The problem is, it does 99.5% of the same things as Windows. It's the 0.5% that is different or inoperable that holds folks back. And naturally, my 0.5% is different from your 0.5%....
Per Slashdot:
This probably sounds cheesy, but I read a great quote on WebMD that said, "There's a difference between indulgence and overindulgence."
I haven't put this program through it's full paces, but so far I'm not overly impressed. Yes, it is an okay product, but I've not seen any compelling reason to switch to Nero from GnomeBaker (my personal fave).
@monkeystick: Yep, awhile ago.
@Whammo: Wireshark does do DNS lookups; you have to enable that option. It is disabled by default for the sake of packet reading/parsing speed.
Another way to do this is to go into about:config and find the value called:
Yikes, Lifehacker!</B Rick, this is a useful tool, I'm sure, but from a security standpoint, ad hoc Wireless mode is an open invitation to be hacked. I can't believe that Lifehacker would recommend such a tool. As a CISA & CISSP, I can tell you all that industry best practice (and most company's policies) prohibit…
