Thanks for sharing with everyone, Adam! The power is even more extended if you use Cygwin's bash shell; you can send this great output from WMIC to files that you can then manipulate with sed, awk, etc. and really get some powerful details.

You know, it's funny. While I know there are alternatives to Notepad out there that add funcationality, I've not adopted them because of the wonderful F5-insert-datestamp feature...
Honestly, I think the problem of zoning out is more of a symptom of ineffective meetings.
I highly recommend (and am surprised that no one else has yet mentioned) the TweakUI Powertoy from Microsoft. It's a great tool to help you configure your interface to Windows the way you like it.
I've thoroughly enjoyed the tutorials about Cygwin. I've used it a few different times before; now with the benefit of the [todo.sh] script I've ensured that Cygwin is now an indispensable tool for me.
