Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. It borrows a lot from other sources (especially the Fleischer Superman cartoons) but that just makes it more interesting. The effects are a little dated now, but this trailer would still catch my attention. The movie, unfortunately, had little to offer other than cool visuals…
