What’s a 5-letter Yiddish word for ‘bedbug’?

I’m glad that finally worked out for you in the long run.

You thought right. This article is horrible. I seriously suspect it was written by somebody abled and without proper consultation with disabled people and service animal handlers. The only advice this article should have given on how to interact with service animals is “Don’t.”

Isn’t saying that the confederacy will happen again a threat of treason? Wouldn’t that make those actions disrespectful to the flag, soldiers, and the president? Will the Jokus PotUS decry their actions? Will they be lambasted in the media and have their names muttered in the same breath as terrorists due to their

That’s so Rick Sanchez-ish.

...the opportunity to call him “saucy” was right there...

Man, someone’s upset they didn’t get that sauce!

Somebody needs to tell you that you are one of those dipshit fans of this overrated cartoon that doesn’t really get irony.

Even on M*A*S*H* they turned the laugh track off when they were in surgery.

One thing to add - whether to donate whole blood, double red cells, platelets, or plasma depends a lot on blood type. I can’t find the chart online, but the need/usefulness of blood products varies by type. It’s based on the frequency of blood type in the population, as well as the ability to use products across blood

It’s ludicrous especially because as you point out religion is a protected class. So you can have a bumper sticker saying “god hates gays” and they cannot punish you. But they can for having a marriage equality sticker that has no words at all.

ALL good americans need to fight for at the very least political

If you donate on the regular an added benefit is that you’ll know a lot of nice and friendly people. Sometimes they make some nice things like organize dinners or bus trips to visit something.

I would gladly donate, but because I’m gay, I can’t. I go to the doctor every 3 months for routine bloodwork, including HIV testing and STI testing. I have no diseases, and yet I can’t donate. It’s ridiculous. I would donate as often as I could, if I could.

Come to my local con!! It’s decently large (like 7,000 folks last year I think), dedicated to good harassment policies (“Costumes are not consent” posters are everywhere), and is easily made up of 40+% ladies! It’s also a mixture of all fandoms, so everybody gets a little bit of something. I’ve still run into some

It’s funny to me. I’m also a woman, and the height of my con going days was the late 80s and early 90s. While there were almost no women there (I think I counted 5 at GenCon in the early 90s, and all of us were working in the vendor area), the guys were just dudes. I had tons of cool conversations at the cons with

The fanfic community is generally nicer, I agree, and luckily you can just delete the comments of the random asshat that tells you you should die in a ditch because you paired a few characters they don’t like together.

I would accept weed for a whole slew of minor life infractions.

I find with the bulk of people who use the word “fandom” as something other than a pejorative, they are almost uniformly awful to be around. Geeks are worse than obnoxious drunk sports fans.

Pirate cat will be my first training for my next kitten. Also, want to get them more used to riding in a car. My cat meowed the whole 8 hours the last time I moved. She drank a whole bowl of water when we got to the new house.

I am now your follower.
