I spoke to one of the potential organizers last year about what went down (Tom Cotter of barn finders fame). He told me there is a parking garage in Weehawken with a very specific European electrical system that probably confuses alot of people. It will never happen but wouldn’t it be sweet.

Harbor freight has plenty of decent stuff and I would never hate. I was there the other day. But when it comes to tools you are only using if you are already having a bad fucking day (Taps, extractors, etc) I try to buy the good stuff to minimize my risk of throwing things.

Someone fucked up in the factory and created the hole. They filled it in and said fuck it, it willl be fine with or without a risk assessment from an engineer under pressure to get the thing flying. The fix failed and they do not want to explain it to NASA.
