Exactly. Gojira is a dark, scary movie. In addition to the stuff you mentioned some of the victims who survived the rampage got sick from radiation exposure.

The cocoon was in Odin's vault. If he showed up in Guardians I would lose it.
"Vanth Dreadstar is a tragic space hero who has an awesome sword and a cool beard. And he teams up with an all-powerful mystic Jedi type, plus a psychic and a cat-woman. (There's always gotta be a cat woman.)"
It was actually a planet at the end of the universe. He thought that no one would ever discover what happened but Warlock was able to and sought him out. That's when they have the whole conversation about Thanos' fatal flaw of him not really wanting total power and always leaving a weakness to be exploited.
Thanos gets pulled into the fight to save the universe. The big bad had been using an artifact called The Heart of the Universe to defeat all the gods, cosmics and the like. Thanos gets the Heart of the Universe and uses it become omnipotent and defeat Akhenaten. Unfortunately the universe was dying due to…
I like it too. It was pretty paint by numbers but the end result was pleasant.
Sorry, I love Final Wars. It's feels different than the rest of the series but it's tons of fun and the battles were insane. Plus Final Wars Godzilla was just a badass.
I love to listen to that and read stuff like Joe Abercrombie. It just sets the tone.
Thanks for the Two Steps From Hell recommendation. I'll add it to my playlist.
Hopefully they lean heavily on Dwayne McDuffie's version of the character. I could see Mike Peterson fitting in the Michael Collins role pretty easily. They already have the motivation of him trying to reclaim his humanity and get his family back.
I nearly quit watching the show about halfway in and then it all came together. Great stuff.
Brave and Bold Aquaman was like Marvel's Hercules at his brawling, fun loving best. I kept waiting for him to yell "Have At Thee!"
The alternate ending is even more depressing. But his cells grew into the Gargantuas so that's kinda cool.
From the Heisei era on it was shown that Godzilla only "eats" radioactive energy sources. He's absorbed the energy of several reactors, fallout from a nuclear weapon, radioactive isotopes and another radioactive monster. So humans are just minor annoyances but our tasty toys powered by nuclear energy are on the menu.
The look on Miguel Cotto's face says it all.
The kaiju's blood and tissues were toxic(kaiju blue). So if you use a weapon with enough force to rip them open(and that was beyond the means of any modern day weaponry other than nukes) you spread toxic goo all over the place. That actually helps the kaiju masters because the kaiju blue made the environment more…
Belit did the same thing in REH's Queen of the Black Coast. It was a nice homage to the original stories.
Gaunt was an epic badass. Got to love a guy that gave up Heaven to save his friends.
Is it wrong that I was happy when Ward aka the world's worst sniper got riddled with bullets? Then my joy turned to ash when I saw him in the preview.
It's the same character.
