It’s not an unusual reaction, by any means. But maybe, if you’re doing a press tour for a movie you’re in, either be very clear that you can’t be present for the playback, or get used to it. Because every show does this, it’s kind of part of the deal.

Numenor is on the Amazon map, so probably?

I think “first theatrical Bond movie” sort of cements it into young (mostly male) minds. Mine was Goldeneye and it’s my favorite by a wide margin.

I suspect many short-stay hotels are less than meticulous in their housekeeping.

John Wayne should be canceled because he generally sucks as an artist and a person. He was in the Searchers, yeah, but that movie is a masterpiece in spite of him. He is terrible.

Yes, and it’s a current apocalyptic city between Texas and Arkansas. I used to drive through it a lot.

I didn’t know that was a real thing. I only know it from this:

I’m pretty sure the rampant corruption did him in.

You are right. Getting my toddler into my wife’s RAV4 is a piece of cake. My Focus ST, not so much. Lots of positioning, twisting, etc.

We all make some moral compromises to get by. We should at least make some show of accountability to giant companies and their shareholders. Uber doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt.
