I guess this depends on what makes a car fun to you. If it’s just performance a CX-5 Turbo or Sportage SX should fit the bill. But there is only so much stuff a manufacturer can do at this price point.

The new Escape is exciting, because when the 3 cylinder goes into cylinder deactivation to save gas, the whole car shakes like it blew a tire.

It’s boring, but compitent, which is what people want.

“Thanks Sisters and Brothers at Oshawa…All The Best! EH!!!!” read a banner on the rank carrying the frame.

Plus the Atlas gets 56 mpg! (According to Volkswagen)

That thing looks terrible.

First thing I thought was BMW Corolla.

Nah, Corolla from the side, Camry from the rear.

It’s not, though. It would be the ugliest car in Kia’s lineup by a fair margin.

Better is highly subjective though. The vast majority of new car buyers remain unconvinced they are indeed better. The ones you describe as having seen the light are the fanatics, Tesla needs to convince everyone else that is currently buying crossovers and giving a middle finger to fuel efficiency. Any investor knows

I never understood the hubris of referring to manufacturers as legacy when Tesla is struggling as a business and Mercedes made $2.7B in pure profit last quarter. It comes off as premature groupthink. While I believe EVs are the way of the future, let’s not forget that Ford revolutionized the automobile and now it’s

Poor example. The Taycan has vastly exceeded Porsche’s volume expectations. Should have said e-tron or I-Pace.

I don’t think so. Mercedes isn’t selling it here because ain’t nobody buying the I-Pace nor e-tron. Jaguar and Audi are now the go-to luxury brand for EV also-rans.

The best electric car for a road trip is still a shitty car for a road trip.

So is the mid-seven second 0-60 and I'm really less concerned with the distance, 181hp is a joke for a 'semi-perfomance' minded model/brand.

It’ll be usable as a city car, but they better make it damn cheap. You can get a used e-Golf for a pretty decent price these days, and if it’s a second-gen (2017 or newer) it will equal or beat the Mini’s range.

110 miles is a fucking joke.

“It is a strategic decision to first support the growing customer demand for the EQC in Europe.”

Athough, the EQC is itself based on the GLC.

umm Americans can buy an Electric Mercedes-Benz now
