My, the smog in China is lovely this time of year.

@ttyymmnn: I prefer the directional flare that accompanies a high-velocity projectile.

OK, now I want to vinyl wrap my 530i.

@dirtydorty: Why - because of the side mirrors and shorter wheelbase? The hood and front end are as E39 as can be.

The article says "Air Force," but the planes say "Navy."

Tip over much?

@hoonthatsc: It looks like the Dark Knight would be more at home in that car than the Dark Lord of the Sith.

@Jim-Bob: The thieves obviously are not into cars, or they'd realize all of this. My guess is that the thieves are local who probably saw the inside of the garage at one point and thought everything in there was not distinctive enough to be noticed when it pops up on ebay or craigslist.

@snapoversteer twts teh body elctrc: Do you also have the real paint covered with a disposable paint of a different color that can be removed instantly with a pressure washer?

Coilovers, camshafts and gutting a daily driver? Are you serious?

@brandegee: Where does it say that this is Inconel? The Pro Italia pages say it's not titanium but it is "high-zoot", and never actually says it's steel.

@iniq: Because it's lightweight and forms a cool-looking oxidation layer in the hot parts of the exhaust (the rainbow effect you see on titanium exhausts). It doesn't need to be especially strong because the exhaust is not, to my knowledge, a heavily loaded component.

@$kaycog: Please tell me you just photoshopped that.

@Electro Gyrocator: WHY did Mazda never make a hardtop, non-convertible Miata?

@Mikeado: Negative camber. Lots of negative camber.

That was beautiful - perfect aim. I just wish someone had a high-speed camera running.
