Solid article. Enjoyed the various perspectives and views provided. History 101, don’t judge the past by today’s standards. Everyone seems to have forgotten this basic principle to studying events of the past.

One of the best articles I’ve ever read on here.

I get what you’re saying, especially in regards to Nikki. One of the (numerous) reasons I will never run for office is my parent.

Unpopular Opinion: You cannot shame or criticize victims, but I think there is room to just believe people you care about. I don’t think it’s okay for Keaton to go after Dylan Farrow, but I do think it’s okay that she believes Allen and is wrong. I also think it’s okay that Nikki Minaj never spoke out against her

As someone who spends more time in the character creator than the game, I totally empathise here. I absolutely HATE when that creation doesn’t turn out the same in the in-game engine. Especially when I have to play through some 20 minute intro before I can even see them (side eyes Destiny).

I loved that moment in the documentary because you see three different experiences of grief, across three generations. Her grandmother seems to have come to terms with Joanne’s death, perhaps because in her old age, as a Catholic, she feels like she is close to seeing Joanne again, and she seems somewhat surprised by

A YouTube video with nearly 900,000 views titled “Why Anthem Should Scare You | Has EA Destroyed Bioware?” just miiiight be the type of thing that the second-to-last paragraph of this article is talking about.

Rian Johnson Explains Leia’s Big Last Jedi Move Again for Fans Who Are Having Trouble Accepting It

Good. Here’s hoping the dude who passed Barriss the address receives similar charges.

There’s, “Oh, I’m trolling for the LOLz,” and then there’s SWATting. You call in an armed response team, you have to know there’s the potential for something to go wrong—and if you contact someone else to have them do it for you, then

Fusion and Orbis have good reason to protect their sources, as naming them may expose them to retaliation from the Russian government. Oleg Erovinkin was suspected to be one of the sources Steele used, he died under suspicious circumstances not long after the dossier was made public. There are other instances of

“Simpson repeatedly refused to name the sources who provided information to Steele.”

Black Museum was so good a lot of people didn’t like it but man the parallels were just too good and that ending??? Its in my top 3 for S4 as well as the USS Callister cause it threw me for a loop and came for those “nice” guy fanboys who aren’t actually nice and Hang the DJ because it got me right in the heart it was

Yes, I was waiting for this too. As a general rule, I make a point of not reading White reviewers critiques of Black narratives. I noticed they tend to either give such narratives lower marks, misunderstand, or miss the point of the story.

I watched this the same day as Erica Garner passed and my mind continued to draw parallels between the daughter and father in Black Museum and Eric/Erica Garner. Thoughts about justice, retribution and how America is highly desensitized, and exploits, to the pain of people of color. I couldn’t stop crying.

Black Museum was my favorite episode this season because of all the themes you brought to light here. And, even though the justice was incomplete, there was some satisfaction in the end.

Even the Thrawn books are not amazing. The idea of Thrawn is great,(and Rebels has adapted it well) but it’s really not sophisticated in terms of plot. The depiction of military action is terrible, there’s the whole ‘clones with an extra vowel’ thing and it’s all Original Trilogy wish fulfillment. LTJ breaking

Sometimes I think people love the idea of the universe more than the movies that make up the universe.

It’s both. They are not mutually exclusive.

Is Rey the chosen one? Nah, fuck that. She’s just the child of space Whitney and Bobby who is a self made hero.

Finally caught it yesterday with the little one, and we absolutely loved how they kept subverting the audiences expectations and throwing us for a loop.
