i didn’t have any issues with the journal and didn’t find completing quests or finding something else to do all that much of a challenge. trying to figure out the difference in how our perception made the user experience different (from a very strictly UX POV).

pretty much.

republican 1: damn it! we lost the special election. how should we pivot to get more people on board with our party?

republican 2: cheat more!

republican 1: genius!

agree.  i mean, i’ma play like 4 of my own customs, then each of the companions, then the dark urge...through to the end.  which, according to my calculations, i should complete somewhere around 2123.

oh we don’t have to date at all Wayne.

i’ve sent so many screaming into the abyss with thunderwave (including asterion by accident)  /shrug

i noted that the color of my pubes didn’t match my hair though.  is this a bug?  i could have any color of hair but always have gray bush.

i’ll also recommend to the chair that they hire you right away! your deep understanding of both my teaching methods and the ethics in and around teaching is nearly omniscient! i never knew i could find such brilliance and wisdom from a kinja commenter.  hopefully they can get you on board to replace me right away!

i apologize.  your solution was so mind-blowingly insightful my small little mind couldn’t comprehend it until i read it three times.  teach them to use it ethically and then show them the Adobe product!  by god, you’re a genius.  i’ll run to the university board and my department chair and tell them all about this

actually, Adobe has its own that pulls from a massive library of art and images owned wholly by Adobe. so as far as provenance is concerned, its the most least unethical method of AI usage you can get (and our university provides the students with licenses to the suite of Adobe tools). furthermore, utilizing these

that’s not how it works and that is a misguided way of thinking about it.  you can’t make them not use it.  it’s out of the bag, and it’s in their hands.  should i just let them go buck wild?  i can give them failing grades, yes; but that’s not dealing with the root issue.  which is the existence of AI, the

furthermore, apathy gets you zero change and zero cents.  those who complain, do nothing.

this was a big part of a discussion that was had amongst the professors of an arts college i teach at.  most wanted to just not allow it at all.  choosing to try and wholly restrict in the hopes it would just “go away.”  but the more tech-savvy of us (mostly the 3D art/animation teachers) were more of the mind to

more like a runny, greasy turd

exactly this

in a world view of stark dichotomies, nuance is not in frame

quite a missed opportunity with all of them in one place...

it’s like some sort of post-modern art piece that comments on the ephemerality of media, marketing and entertainment.

cuz “when they go low, we go high”

but srsly, how many times you gotta’ be punched in the balls before you just say “fuck it.  i’m taking your whole damn arm off”

sadly it’s just fodder to the red meat christo-facist base. “see?! if it wasn’t true then why is he suing me, huh? what’s he got to hide?” she’ll face no repercussions and she’ll continue being the shitstain of sub-human she’s always been. rewarded for it, in fact.
