i keep hearing people insult the Prowler. With exception of the lack of power, how awesome does it look? how awesome was the chassis design? I think it was a great design but they lacked an engine to give it the power it needed. I take it as a missed opertunitiy, but not the worst

I have actually been in two Pulsars before, but no sportbak (you can pick up the “cap” moderately cheap though). My brother had one as his first car. We utilized the hatch area to house a folding beer pong table. It was no speed demon for sure, but it was moderately decent.

Is the Pulsar Sportbak a good car? No, probably not. It’s an ‘80s economy car. It’s a Sentra underneath. Even with a manual gearbox, I’m sure it’s a dog to drive, and that a Honda CRX from the same era will probably run circles around it. It’s hardly the most sporting Nissan from that time.
