A little too raspy for my taste but I guess better than nothing. Reminds me of a straight-through exhaust on a Miata. Just too buzzy.

My mother taught me (talk about stressful). After that I had my first manual, an '85 Sentra hatchback. Not my first car but my first car that I loved. BUT I ended up killing 2 clutches in a year. Mom's friends taught me engine braking without rev matching and I liked to go 3rd to 2nd around a tight curve near my high…
Either the Ferrari F430 or Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, flip a coin. My wife bought me 4 laps in a Gallardo Spyder but when we showed up, I heard the call of that exhaust and knew that I must drive it. Was not let down by it. I loved the explosive acceleration of the Gallardo but the in the curves, the 430 was king.…
Yes, but I'm too old to worry about what people think of my listening preferences 20 years ago. It's one easy word that people generally would understand. I wasn't going to make a list but most of what I listened to back then was White Zombie, Nine Inch Nails, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Marilyn Manson, My Life with…
Okay, if you say so. I was more of an alternative/grunge/industrial fan back then. Never liked anything by Incubus. They were always too upbeat for my taste.
This is still a thing? I think the last one I heard about was Incubus. And no, I'm sorry to break this to you but Incubus was never cool.
It's real for sure. The "base" model Gallardo was the LP 550-2 which was rear wheel drive, available with a manual. The one I'd have if I had the money, really. And they did offer a Spyder and it is pretty rare.
The enthusiast in me says 360 but the rational side of me says Cayman. But that exhaust note! I've had a thing for that sound for a while now, since it was new in fact. For the Cayman to be even close to as desirable for me, it would need to be an R and even them I'm not really sure that it measures up. Practicality,…
Just don't mention that new CEO by the name of Humperdink. He fired Miracle Max and he's been sore about it ever since. It's a painful subject.
Doesn't matter, would daily drive... assuming it started... but not on fire...
State of the art!
They need to bring back the box (design-wise, not literally the gen 1 xB). The original xB seemed much more popular than the current one and the current is getting kind stale, though I don't have the numbers to back this up, just from talking to people. The tC was a big deal when it came out but really, once the FR-S…
I'm glad to hear they've at least addressed it, so they know it was a problem.
I just hope they get rid of that lady talking over the radio or at least send her to a course on etiquette. I get that she's there to remind you of what you can possibly do next to advance the story but she was really whiny and obnoxious about it. Other than that, the first one was a great game, though replayability…
Thanks! I'm a bit of a connoisseur myself. I remember the N1 and I think the Autech was the 4 door pseudo-GT-R, wasn't it? I used to know more of this off the top of my head but I've started to get a little bit rusty.
Ah, thank you.
400R was the R33. That's my favorite of all of the GT-Rs. And I've been corrected. TokyoBayAquaLine says it was the S-Tune BNR32 and Z-Tune BNR34 that were bought back as used GT-Rs to be built into the tuned models. He should know. I think he's mentioned living in Japan in the past.
I don't know of them doing that with the R30 or R31 but I think Nismo did something like this with either the R32 or R33 to make one of the special edition GT-R's. I want to say it was either the Nismo 400R or the Nismo R32 S-tune. Again, it really is like Gran Turismo, because that was where I heard about it. It's…
