Ya that was my experience as well, and in the case it’s barely useful. Having it vibrate not while the app is open would be useful.

iOS or Android? I don’t think the iOS one does that but I could be mistaken.
Super chill. My dog is basically a cat in a dog’s body. Sleeps all day, when other dogs bark at him he just completely ignores them. Really the only downside is that he can never ever be off-leash in a non fenced in area.
I’ve had my retired racing GH almost 2 years now. Highly recommend it!
For me if you go to the “Contacts” page it shows me the “last seen” date for my hangout-using friends.
Does your blu-ray player upscale DVDs? Mine does a decentish job of that.
I’m a huuuuge fan of being woken up with light. Adding two more Hue bulbs to my existing system for my bedroom has been clutch. Lights slowly fade on and wake me up that way. Much more peaceful then a jarring alarm.
Agreed! If I ever win the lottery that I don't play I'd quit and probably start some sort of non-profit related to my field. Teach prisoners and orphans how to code or something. And running the non-profit would become my job.
I've been a bit of an Audiobook bender (long commute), but absolutely loving "An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth: What Going to Space Taught Me About Ingenuity, Determination, and Being Prepared for Anything" by Chris Hadfield, all sorts of good "life" stuff. On a less serious note (but still lots of great life…
Just get verizon! None of your data works when you're on the phone (unless you're on wifi). Definitely a "feature" from Verizon.
I think if I remember correctly it something to do with rebuilding after WW2, portions the US "helped" rebuild are 60Hz. I could be mistaken.
Fantastic article Thorin!
I had a similar wiping station when I did PC stuff at work. Ran Ubuntu from a flash drive and I had the case ajar with super long SATA and IDE cables so I could plug in 4 discs at a time and wipe them. I think I used the "shred" command?
Ah okay, I must have a different version then, my Grid-IT has a zippered pocked on the back.
so Nihilism? haha
I got the same bottle last summer for vacation and I absolutely love it - probably going to buy a second one just for work.
Not sure how secure they are but I've been a big fan of using lyrics as passwords. Fairly long phrases but easy to remember. My current password is like 20 characters but super easy to remember.
I use e-meals and I absolulely love them. I play like $60 bucks a year but they send you 7 meals and a shopping list (and they have a pretty useful app) every week and you can pick your family size and diet type (vegetarian, paleo, low-cal, etc.) as well as the store you prefer to shop at. Pretty nifty.
I'm a big fan of having easy to remember passwords for each site. I use the same password and just add a few modifiers for each site - like my facebook password might be "passwordfb" and twitter might be "passwordtw." Give me some peace of mind in case some service I use gets hacked.
