"Uncle Touchy's Naked Puzzle Basement…
You won't wear a shirt and you'll cry…."

Fantastic.

He also directed my favorite moonshine running-cop revenge car chase classics, WHITE LIGHTNING. Sargent took it over from Spielberg; would have been his first theatrical film. Tim Blake Nelson spoke about working with Sargent on an episode of DINNER FOR FIVE.

Does anyone know when this movie opens in wider release?

Um, what about Karyn Kusama (AEON FLUX)?

Is there any studio out there that would make a faithful adaptation of THE RUNNING MAN including the ending? Maybe HBO, can't think of any other production entity having the post 9/11 balls to make a real version of the King novel, not just Arnold killing people and making wisecracks.

Keith David also narrated the "Pillows & Blankets" Community moc-doc in classic Ken Burns style.

Fuck these unscary PG-13 "monster" movies. If I had stayed home, Dracula would have stayed untold.

I don't agree that JG was overshadowed in ZODIAC. That might have been his break-out role. And what about THE GOOD GIRL?

Jonathan Richman.

Yeah, could mean three really cool movies.

Has anyone optioned "Mr. Mercedes"? I really enjoyed that one.

Hey, Supes be snappin' necks now.

William Goldman writes a pretty nice profile of Attenborough when they worked together on "A Bridge Too Far". It's in "Adventures in the Screen Trade". RIP sir.

Like a lot of first generation fans, I saw Robin Williams on "Happy Days", so I wasn't surprised when the dude got his own series. I never liked "Mork and Mindy" as much after its first season, but by then I'd seen the flip side of Williams on his first HBO special. What he did and what Steve Martin did made me want

The goal was "one hit wonders that sell". I get it. it's just that there's so much great music out there, these movies can make new hits as opposed to the tried and true. Tried and true works. I just think music selection in film is lazy at times.

I'll take that. I'm old enough to classify as "hipster".

The one aspect of the film that I think
should improve in future installments of the series are the needle-drop pop
songs that play under – and often against – all the space action. Let me put it
this way: I already have every single one of these songs on my ipod; there’s
not one tune here that hasn’t anchored a dozen

Kooky.

"I already said "Green Mile".
