Like a lot of first generation fans, I saw Robin Williams on "Happy Days", so I wasn't surprised when the dude got his own series. The goal was "one hit wonders that sell". I get it. it's just that there's so much great music out there, these movies can make new hits as opposed to the tried and true. Tried and true works. I just think music selection in film is lazy at times.
