Everybody copies. Everybody. It's how we learn to tell stories, by studying what came before. If Chuck Berry can admit that there's nothing new under the sun, can't we just admit it? Sure, QT wears his influence on his sleeve, but he does other things besides messing with act structure and talking about pop stuff.

Just for "It's All Over Now" and "Across 110th St.", the man was world-class funky. RIP Mr. Womack. Thanks for some serious grooves.

I know there have to be omissions with actors' careers, but every time I see Don Johnson, I always think of MACHETE. Too bad there wasn't time for it.

I like her just fine. I liked her back when she was a kid actor in 1996's MANNY & LO. And her work in some of Woody Allen's recent work is terrific. IMO Black Widow keeps improving as a character as the films evolve. What's wrong with that?

i just hope she has actual funny business, traits and quirks, and has a reason for being in the movie besides just being loyal and adorable. AB can do that AND she's hilarious.
