Shhhh, dont encourage the shippers!

And somehow she'll still find a way to botch it.

Funny, I heard from one of the writers (Matt, I believe?) said this is the last episode of the year. Hopefully Im wrong.

You see hows it done, other animated shows. ACTUAL CHARACTER PROGRESSION! If this took place earlier than On the Run, Amethyst would of beaten the stuffing out of Peri, but instead sulked it all in and kept to herself.

Confirmed that we'll all cry together at the inevitable series finale.

"Life sucks, and then you die."

So we finally come to this.

Completely agree, I love when a show tries the least possible scenario with plot, but the characters are so damn engaging with their gags you cant help but love it.

I thought this episode was pretty great. Instead of pairing her with someone so full of life like Zeke, Jimmy Jr. or even Gene or Louise, we get the very damn opposite! Granted he wasnt the most interesting or captivating, but his blandness and Ghostboy graffiti made him stand out.

This episode has everything I love about Steven Universe, aside from a musical number.

I dont think so now, im fairly sure AS didnt order a second season until very late 2014, then the production team had to write, storyboard, and edit all S2 episodes.

Hit the hail there, dude. This was the masterpiece we all wanted and waited for, and goddamn it came huge!

Holy fucking shit this was a fantasically incredible, goddamn masterpiece of a gem glib glob episode!!

Glad you brought up Jasper. Bring in the war veteran in case things get heated. Of course we now know what happened after, but maybe Peri had to earn her rights to train, through conquering "weak" worlds?

Its pretty disappointing that CN almost never show AT reruns, or even announce when it ll premiere again. We get plenty of TTG though! /s

So, Vegeta? Replace annoying with badass.

You had me hooked until you said Gurren Lagann lol. Their budget would tank out quicker than Evangelion.

Taste of Adventure Time right there.

Kudos to writing this, agree with everything mentioned here.
Give me Peri/Connie dammit!!

This is really putting Peri's origin in perspective. Assuming she's a young Gem, but was sent on a mission to compromise Earth, wouldnt she have trained and learn to use her Gem powers? Maybe they thought Earth would be a piece of cake hearing that all thats left are "ancient relic" Gems.
