I am not sure if significant = desirable. The Escort, Pinto and Aztek were also significant, but would all be pretty narrow collectibles. Given $7k to spend on a boxy Caddy I’d rather have more of a head turner.

At $13k this car is a steal. It’s devoid of anything WE care about, but they aren’t unreliable. Honestly as a consumer good it’s about the best decision out there for a vehicle.
