As a Canadian I say “Bring it.” If that orange bloviating idiot is going to tear up the free trade agreement, fuck the US. We have the capability to sell crude and petrochemicals to lots of other countries.

so what happened to our free trade agreement with Canada and Mexico (USMCA, which is just the NAFTA treaty that Trump superficially changed so he can have his name on it) so is that being ripped up? also, if i recall correctly, USMCA was congressionally approved, so I’m pretty sure it’s a law.. There’s a further irony in Trump’s economic fantasies. By hurting Mexican auto and parts factories, workers will lose jobs. When the Mexican economy sags southward, that’s further incentive to jump the border and come here as immigrants.

And who is the largest exporter of Oil and Gas to the USA? Mexico.
Who is the second largest exporter? Canada

25% tariff and imported Oil and Gas from those two countries?

By allowing Mr Twice Impeached to again occupy the Oval Office, America has done far worse than shooting itself in the foot.

We can shut off the freshwater supply to the Northern States, shut off the flow of crude down Base Keystone, and shut off the flow of softwood lumber.
