I wasn’t taken out, it was cancelled. It never existed. The risk in the game is that you could spend an hour getting some chests only to get nothing because your ship sunk or someone steals them. Losing time and having to start all over is the bread and butter of hardcore death punishments.

If Superman 64 came out in the early 80s, it would have been an all-time classic!
