Why is everyone turning toward EA on this? I am by no means taking up for EA, but remember the game is made and released by Respawn Entertainment They make all the decisions on how DLC in the game will be rolled out.

There is only one other explanation I can think of adding. When you actually do lose the battle (And you are still alive), you still have a chance for extraction.
