YES! The soundtrack absolutely made this game!

For sure.... I’m a little confused as to why Valve announced this with no first party games to show off all the new features. Those controllers are capable of some REALLY amazing things.

Absolutely.

I did the GearVR lens upgrade on my Vive and... wow. It’s a MAJOR improvement! I haven’t noticed any eye strain or loss of FOV, honestly, but the visual quality is dramatic. So dramatic I honestly have NO idea why Valve and HTC used those awful fresnel lenses. If you have a 3D printer, or know someone that does, it’s

$280 for the controllers.... ouch... I’ve been looking forward to those more than anything, but this headset is also... tempting.

While base stations may seem like a pain, the way Valve/HTC do tracking via lasers is way, WAY better than using cameras. It’s more responsive and from what I understand reduced the load on your system to calculate position.

The MUSIC! Oh the music! It’s permanently in my brain from the 80's as a kid. I could immediately, and clearly hear it in my head while you were mentioning each area’s tune.   So...so..SO good!

I LOVE the idea that they could write off the horrors of the game in its current state as a simulation or Vault-Tec experiment!

I wonder what the chances of blending the best of the Rage engine with Creation engine would be. Rage still has a cap, if I remember correctly, but it’s wayyy higher than 60fps. Also looks utterly incredible and runs like a dream on just about all hardware.

It’s worth buying, on sale, with Horizons for the VR experience. But you really need a HOTAS and be prepared to spend a few hours fumbling around while learning the controls, (this is actually a good thing).

The worst part, and a huge sign of Frontier’s disconnect with this game is the fact that no one on the development team realized that if you fire your weapon within the no-fire zone around the megaship, you get a bounty. So when you’re inevitably killed trying to defend yourself players were being sent to detention

3D Printing has really made things like this more accessible to a lot of people.

I think you’re onto something!

YES! This and Setting Sun :)

I’d love to see a NintendOW mashup!

I wouldn’t call it an “accident”....

Anything Kyle Gabler is involved in is an insta-buy for me.

Why do I get the feeling that a lot of that hashing power is actually going to be used for mining bitcoin/ethereum/litecoin....

Exactly the same thought I had.
