First of all, only female tennis players are allowed to have an opinion about the subject? Seriously? Get off the high horse. SEcond, once again, I am citing female tennis players who have complained about just this issue. Female tennis players , I might add, who are a hell of a lot more important than you.

Wrong, just plain wrong and amazingly arrogant of you. I am not merely relying on my own observation but I am citing professional women's tennis players complaints about it. Many players complain about it as a matter of fact, just look it up. In fact I believe the NY Times had an article just a few months ago about

Yes, because after all Martina has no idea what she is talking about either. Look, I am certainly not saying that grunting shouldn't exist or is manufactured. What does appear to be manufactured is the high volume it has reached in recent years. It is annoying and complaining about it does not equal sexism.

You may be right. My neighbor (Audrey) blamed it on Monica Seles and that does appear to be about the time it seemed to become more pronounced. Audrey knew her tennis.

Or it could be that you are not paying attention to what we are saying. I doubt the women are exerting themselves any more than they were 20 years ago. Martina Navratilova has even complained about the excessive grunting and she 'exerted' the hell out of the ball.

I am a much bigger fan of women's tennis than men's. Having said that the grunting in women's matches does seem much more pronounced and has seemingly become so in the last 10-20 years. I kind of assume it is some attempt at intimidation on their part. To be honest it does get on my nerves at times. My old neighbor

I'm sorry but I can not get past his name. Charles Dickens lives!

I have water guns. Only had to use a few times and as soon as I reach for it they (Fiona and Wilma) stop doing (scratching couch usually) whatever destructive mischief they are doing. The problem is though that they now knock the guns under couch/bed/bureaus whenever I am not home. Smart little buggers.

My father, a Danish immigrant, absolutely hated baseball. My mother on the other hand is a big fan and counts Bobby Thomson's 1951 home run as one of the top moments of her life. All her 5 sons (including me) are devoted baseball fans probably because of her). Two of us took her to the Mets game on Saturday in fact

A fair point in many cases but read the comments. It is purely racist in nature, nothing to do with him being a Democrat in this instance.

If you want to see something really depressing read the comments left at the Miami Herald website. Blaming Obama and random racism (not that these two aren't really the same thing).

Correct. At least I hope you are. Never thought of that horrible possibility.

Pretty much exactly what happened to me. The Insane Clown Posse episode was what really got me hooked.

For what it is worth I have a cousin in the fashion industry and she says Rafaeli is one of those people who photograph a lot better than they look in real life. In reality she is kind of sickly looking (too skinny). I remember seeing Heather Locklear in real life and being SUPER disappointed.

Stories about Stone's 'bitchiness' have been swirling around for decades. My favorite was the one about the 'King's Solomon's Mines" where she was so mean to the crew that when she had a bathtub seen several crew members urinated in the bath water while setting up the scene. Probably too good to be true though.

Saw Danny Masterson being interviewed about it and he said it was so great because he has never seen a show so "of the moment". In other words by the time the episodes air they will already be out of date. I'll stick with 'Workaholics" for my 'men in their 20s' comedy (plus I think they actually are in their 20s

I apologize for my tardiness in responding. Charles Addams was a good friend of my parents. One Christmas he gave my brother a pet tarantula as present (cage and other accoutrements included). My brother put the glass cage in his window sill. By the next day the tarantula had become a fried spider and my parents had

My older brother always had a tarantula pet growing up (he went through a few over the years including one given to him by Charles Addams but that is another story). Anyway the tarantula would shed and usually leave a shell that looked like another tarantula. At least three times I woke up in the morning to one of
