I disagree. It was Kevin's sobriety that sold the act. Previously he responded to stress by zoning out, and not giving a crap. A drunk/high Kevin who had nothing to live for would not have cared to killed Marco, while a desperate sober one, who now has so much to live for - now has so much to kill for too.
If Gilbert plans to use the Rayburns, Ozzy will be in his way and is unreliable. He's crab bait in Season Three.
