Quite a short sighted observation. The local supercar industry didn't flourish before the "bankruptcy". The main reason is the same why many big factories left Greece in the 80s and why many initiatives were killed.
It also had very thin and sharp leading edges on the wings so apart from the pilots it was also determined to kill the ground crew.
Release the clutch.
This Corolla appears to me like a conglomeration of many cars like the Focus, Elantra, Jetta, Camry, Dart. That's not to say it's ugly but it's familiarly bland. I'm sure that otherwise it will be decent value and reliable as a rock.
Humorous was exactly the counter-point to the original ugly remarks.
I remember that story. If memory serves me correctly it supposedly happened in Portugal with a Ford Escort.
Despite the ugly attempt to turn this in to a superior civilized North vs filthy primitive South, I shall respond to the remark "this is the only way some of them can impress on their women" in a humorous Jalopnik fashion with this video:
I've been at the Acropolis Rally many times and the few times I've seen this we used to throw rocks at these idiots as well as those sitting in glaringly unsafe spots. There are marshals spread throughout the SS as well as the helicopter monitoring, along with cars driving the stage before the first race driver goes…
Can did Jalopnik not pick this up yet? This looks great.
We make a strange car. Then Ill also fail.
Was about to say so, it was the ST205 and specifically other drivers were complaining about the obvious difference in stage times.
