The revolution has to start from the bottom. Someone out there knows ICE agents and the bureaucrats who support them. Shun these people. Treat them like the pariahs they are.

It’s also self-serving in many ways. A movie about this man this could be made with a much smaller budget and, if the actors were great and the critics got behind it, be enough of a hit to cover it’s costs while raising awareness.

Uh. I think people would FLOCK to the movie if they cast a trans actor. You clearly underestimate the buying power of the LGBTQIA community.

Because her taking it actively prevents trans people from using their own voices in a system where they already experience extraordinary marginalization and erasure. She’s an active participant in the oppression of trans folks by taking this role. How is that not clear?

I can see your point, but it actually sounds like Seltzer believes that this case establishes some form of legal precedent, which is a real thing. If this case is seen as precedent, then it can be used in future, similar cases to help establish how those cases go forward. So if another author has a similar lawsuit,…
