One would hope. I guess I’m going off of pretty limited information, but all the marketing material and gameplay footage so far has been very focused on the shooter-man action. “Looks like we found some loot!”; [slashes guy in the face] “Nice!

Not necessarily. The world is worth exploring for its own sake, and there are things like the Thieves’ Guild that give you other types of goals. I played an entire, multi-dozen-hour character in Morrowind that had zero combat proficiencies.

And by that I mean, your options consist of “which way would you like to shoot or otherwise maim everyone within these established quest-dungeons”, rather than “what kind of life do you want to make for yourself within this world”.

Meh. I was hoping for Bladerunner-Skyrim; this looks more like Borderlands with some mildly interesting new mechanics.

It because they’re shipping genuinely new tech (real-time raytracing) which isn’t really being utilized yet and definitely hasn’t had its cost brought down yet by economy of scale. These cards are for early-adopters.

If you’re referring to Starcraft, I think you mean 20 years

Given the character she’s playing and the way that character was treated in the show, it’s almost like the crowd is unknowingly participating in the cosplay.

Yeah- Child of Light’s battle system actually felt like it had a decent amount of thought put into it, but it still felt tangential to the world and story.

It’s probably a defensive move in part, given that Steam just launched their own Discord-like chat revamp.

“As a scientist, I find myself continually wondering: how much more synthesis and good evidence do we need to cause society to take this issue seriously?”

There’s another case to be made that there’s a difference between DRM cracking and piracy, and that DRM *always* hurts the honest customers more than the pirates. It bloats software, it stops you from using your purchase the way you want to. Pirates will always find a way, but in the futile and petty attempt to stop

All this to stop people from fully enjoying a bunch of 1s and 0s that they paid money for.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the problem with the 15-inch limited to the i9 option? Is it fine with an i7? Or is that not even an option?

Throwing the turrets was a brilliant way to make Sym more capable on offense; I’m sure it’d have the same effect for Torb.

I’ve never played Uncharted, but I’m always excited to see Nathan Fillion play a snarky swashbuckler.

Fortnite is developed and maintained by a much more established and experienced company

Now I gotta buy that DS board game just for the figures
