No idea. I haven't talked to the 3PM guys in years. I do know that one of the drivers in the race I did with them damaged the fiberglass on the prow when he put a prow shaped dent in the trunklid of an E30. Maybe I should get in touch with them again since I am really jonesing to do another LeMons race after watching

Having raced the above boat, I agree, these things would make an excellent LeMons team...no...armada.

Really wanted to watch that but the metronomic beat of the awful background music being louder the engine noise drove me nuts and I bailed after 1 minute.

What really bugs me is that the local Chevy dealer (we live in the middle of nowhere) has had a black, automatic SS since last April and it has been discounted $39,999 which is almost 10 grand below sticker.

No, animals WERE harmed in the making of this picture.

Hands down the prettiest thing to come out of Italy in the past 30 years.

It is pretty badass and I like it way more than I should given the fact that the profile looks just like that of a 1980's S-10 Blazer.

I'm pretty sure Morissey is also scared of vacuum cleaners.

Everybody needs to listen to the Dinner with Racers podcast episode about that car. Remember, it's a D Sports Racer. LOL

I don't have a Scion mix CD but I do have a Volvo mix CD from the intro of the 2nd gen. S40 and I bet my dad still has the mix tape that came with his 1986 Escort GT.

The Prelude was not just a sporty looking Accord, it was a completely different platform from a time when manufacturers could afford to do things like that. Hell, Honda even made an Accord Coupe during the lifespan of the Prelude. You would have to go to a GM dealership to find two so similar and yet different cars

IMO the Renault Alpine is the only truly successful interpretation here.

I think by ‘93 the Escort was a completely different car. No longer 100% Ford, it was a joint venture with Mazda and shared most of it’s parts with the 323/Protégé. The base 1.9L engine was a Ford engine but the GT engine was all Mazda and quite closely related to the Miata engine.

The only reason I remember these at all is that my dad and uncle both had ‘87 Escort GTs. They sucked. Dad kept his less than a year and my uncle pressed on for 2 years with his (during which Ford had computers hooked up to it to try to figure out what the hell was wrong with it) before trading it in on a new Miata.

the R6 model was seen as an attempt by Industrial Automation to win back customers after the poor performance and sales of their cost-cutting R5 models. Smoky, head-popping blown motivators were just the beginning of R5 issues, and IA desperately needed to put some real effort into the R6 to earn back the savvy

Hardly. I paid just over $20k for mine out the door, brand new in Jan. 2014.

Ground clearance was not an issue for me so I lowered my 2014 Forester 2.5i manual 1” with stiffer RS*R springs in order to improve the driving dynamics as the stock springs were just pathetically soft. I also added a 19mm STI rear anti-roll bar and a front strut tower bar which helped more than it had any right to.

You are correct about the XT and it's a travesty but I only have to go as far as my own garage to find a manual Forester. When I bought my dark gray metallic, manual 2014 2.5i in Jan. 2014 the dealer had 2 identical ones and another in silver. Another local dealer had 2 silver ones and the next closest dealer had a

The 2.0T Forester XT is only available with the CVT.

Or you could get a 6 speed manual in a new Forester which has more room, more ground clearance and a bigger engine.
