I got my design and engineering degrees from Hotwheels and Legos. - Dave Kindig

There are hundreds of “special editions” that are nothing more than a badge, sticker, pinstripe, hubcap or paint color difference from the run of the mill, non-special edition version of the same exact car. Lets go ahead and lump in any model badged as an SE since we all know that stands for Special Edition.

That blue color on the Speedster is magnificent.

I'm not actively looking for one. Can't afford it right now. My local dealer has had a black automatic forever though.

For me it was hearing Nirvana on the Classic Rock station and when Kimi Raikkonen became the first F1 driver younger than me.

This whole top 10 list could be populated with Smokey Yunick stories.

I've lowered my Forester but only by an inch, and mainly to stiffen it up since it felt like the stock springs were only very slightly stiffer than a Slinky.

LOL. We recently had a QX70 (used to be the FX35) as a rental and despite the amount of space it took up that damn thing had less rear seat and trunk space than our much smaller Forester. The V6 from the 370Z had some oontz and made some nice noises though.

Wait...there’s going to be a “slightly more crossover-y version called the QX30”?

This thing had so much potential, and was so far ahead of it’s time. My dad had a 1978 Fiesta S that he used to auto-x and do time trials with when I was young. For those who don’t know, the Fiesta back then was Ford of Europe’s answer to the VW Rabbit. Dad’s had the 1600cc Kent engine, modified to about the same spec

Yeah, I love it, but I have no problem with the 964's appearance, I was just referring to his choice of colors and stickers and whatnot. Plus, a ducktail has to be lighter than that articulating contraption on the rear deck.

I’ve only seen them in black. I want a purple manual with the spare tire but no sunroof. For all of you complaining that it's too boring looking, go stand behind one and take in those fender flares...then come back and tell me it's boring and looks like a Malibu.

I'd buy one if I could afford one. Sadly I can't, and much like the manual CTS-V wagon I would also buy in a half a heartbeat, it will end up being so rare that it will NEVER depreciate enough to be affordable.

Mechanically, but not asthetically, that’s just about my perfect 964.

Did somebody say Blue Eyed Devil?

So that’s where the good rolling shots went.

Found a brand new, unopened condom, some Budweiser bottle caps and some spare change under the back seat of my 1989 Jetta GLI.

Oh, yeah I guess so. Definitely sounds like his voice but he looks a bit different. I'm a big Ben Folds fan and I kinda hate myself for not knowing about this sooner.

Obviously, but both had a revival in popularity around the same timeframe from '95 t0 '99.

Uh, 404: Ben Folds not found.
