Don't much care. Apatow is an unfunny scumbag.

Don't forget your legwarmers.

High school senior back then. I remember Turn to Stone being played by a cover band at my prom.

L.I.N.D.A. kinda sucked.

Strings and all kinds of popular music were in back then. Look at disco. Strings everywhere. Hell, Boz Scaggs Silk Degrees is rife with strings!

They did. Years ago. Twice. Both by Bev.

Richard Tandy, then?

He was, but never had the talent to create anything on his own. After ELO he started ELO II. After he left that band (renamed The Orchestra) he went on to reform The Move as Bev Bevan's Move.

Why?

Those strings were mostly Roy Wood and Colin Walker.

As far as I know, only Kelly Groucutt sued him, and that was because he wanted 1/4 of the band's royalties (from '75 to '82) despite writing no songs for ELO. The "go away" settlement was 300,000 pounds. He and Kelly did not part friends, and that lasted past Kelly's death.

…and Paul McCartney, and RIngo Star.
