The new NSX just made me want an old NSX even more.

I don’t think I even care that much that it isn’t super pretty. My problem is that I would know it was a BMW and I’d always think about why I didn’t just get the BMW.
I’ve been hosting some customers from England and Italy this week and this really does end up being the theme of many conversations.
“If you are over 40 years old, Sunscreen is not allowed. It actually isn’t required either because you look like a Catcher’s Mitt.”
And as the skipper you’re responsible... or at least that’s what I’ve learned in my sailing classes. Motor boating seems to be more about having money and doing whatever you want though. The requirement is to have enough life jackets aboard (and maybe children under a certain age required to wear them) in places…
Sleeping inside an SUV is an overly compromising situation when a tent is cheap and usually more comfortable. And there’s the RTT for people who want to spend 10x for some perceived extra convenience or whatever.
I’m excited to see these with Nantucket over sand stickers on their bumpers in my neighborhood. Way cooler than the Rovers.
We’re working on trying to go to the Montreal GP for next year. Still isn’t going to be exactly cheap, but much better than trying to go to one of the US GPs.
Exactly. The weird thing here is that people insist that paper boarding passes aren’t better. They are. They’re faster and easier. I’m glad to see most comments agree because this is something that makes me feel like I’m crazy. I’ve used both and travel a good deal. Shuffling along in the boarding line while…
When traveling internationally they want to check your passport before giving you a boarding pass usually. It was really annoying one time because an airline insisted I use an online check-in process and digital boarding pass but I STILL had to wait in line and show the agent my passport.
This is what baffles me. I’ve used both, juggling a phone (keeping it unlocked and on the boarding pass screen with brightness turned up) is much more of a pain than just having a little slip of paper. Paper passes are faster and easier. The people using their phones are absolutely the ones slowing down the boarding…
“If you’re under 65 and have a paper boarding pass, I’m just going to assume you are going to cause delays during my airport experience,” one person tweeted.
So far I don’t think we’ve seen any of the Raptors while off-roading. I just see them taking up a spot and a half in parking garages because the F-150 variety at least are extra wide.
Is it only $50/yard still? Back in 2003 I worked landscaping and we’d charge around that for silly little yards that took no time at all. We’d unload the truck once and knock out a half dozen yards in under an hour. That was with walk behinds. I’d be running with the weedwacker to keep up doing edges and walks.
Vegas is fun and at least the race isn’t in a parking lot, but tickets were bonkers. The only “regular fans” who get to go to Miami/Vegas are podcasters.
We’ll be going to Canada when/if we finally get to go to an F1 race. The US races are expensive and Miami/Texas are trash states.
The one about a narrow Phili street highlights how many older city streets are just not designed for modern cars. I live in an older expensive neighborhood in Boston and I really don’t know how many of the people there justify street parking. Utility, construction, garbage, and moving trucks WILL mess up your car if…
I think even Kerbal Space Program included it in the after mission report if everything blew up.
Making a front wheel drive economy car sedan perform in this space just means making it less reasonable as a daily driver. Stiffen the hell out of the suspension. Put on tires that’ll erase themselves in no time. Etc. It is super impressive that this can be done and props to Honda for doing it, but the sacrifices that…
Agreed. I have to fly internationally for work regularly and a simple and relatively cheap USB battery keeps my phone, headphones, and even a Switch if I bring it all topped off.
