Just FYI, the 2020 Kuga has a stick option overseas...so it is possible...doubtful we’ll see it here, but possible.

Problem is this thing is so soft looking to begin with I don’t see how they get looks to work. With the Crosstrek and the 5th gen Rav4 you’re starting with designs that are already a bit more squarish so when you beef them up you get a much better “Mad Max” look than I think you’d get with this thing. I’d be curious…
Replace #toofrugal with #toobroke and you sir will be spot on in regards to the “if, if...if Grandma had balls would be Grandpa” crowd around these parts.
Because Ford will likely be giving the US a variant of the Escape with the Kuga ST-Line’s looks at a later date. As much as I know some of you will scream “sacrilege”, with the FiST and FoST DOA here in the US Ford will likely give us something a little warmer than the previous Escape SE Sport Appearance Package with…
Not a fan of the overly conservative look but I get it. This essentially replaces both the current Escape as well as the Focus here in the US. For those buyers who want something a little more “rugged looking” i.e. a 5th Gen Rav4 or Crosstrek competitor, Ford will happily sell you their new yet-to-be-named unibody…
That slider was garbage. What sucks is that vehicles like the facelifted Civic, Pilot and the new Passport are all getting a sort of intermediate solution with a volume knob and half of the hard buttons off the Accord to the left of the screen, but the stacks weren’t designed to accommodate the Accord’s system with…
Ironically I’ve never considered owning a Vee-Dub...mostly due to preconceived notions about their overall reliability and the fact that their most appealing vehicles to me always come in second or third behind a competitor’s product e.g. I’d take a FoRS over a Golf R, an Accord over a Passat etc...
A lot of folks fixate on the horsepower and torque figures but they forget that the GLI is lighter on its feet, shorter, more tossable and more engaging to drive. Based on all of the reviews out there which all seem to be praising VW’s efforts here I feel like this (at least in the US anyway) is to compact sedans in…
You wanna know how?
Regarding the last one, I Googled “lifted Subaru Legacy Sedan” and did not come away disappointed.
In all honesty what made the 6 6MT a non-choice for me was the trim level and lack of equipment Mazda forced you to go with if you wanted to row your own in their midsizer. Honda totally got the builds right with the 1.5T and 2.0T Sport Manuals and it’s why the latter will be replacing my 2016 Fiesta ST when my lease…
In all honesty, in five years VW would be better off just killing the NMS Passat and the Arteon and bringing the next-gen B9 here with the Arteon’s swoopy looks moving the Passat nameplate a bit upmarket (back to where it used to be) from where it’s at now, but not quite at the Arteon’s price point. This thing makes…
Man this is one good looking car...but the argument against it (A5 Sportback, Stinger, the Accord 2.0L if you’re willing to play downmarket and don’t need AWD) is so strong I find it tough to make a case for this thing...especially with sedan sales continually on the downswing. I hope this car does well, but in all…
To be fair, it’s pretty easy to find an Accord Sport 1.5T 6MT or 2.0T 6MT out there. Honda is doing a good job of building enough to cater to demand, at least out here in SoCal anyway.
Entrance to the Tetsuo Harano Tunnels on Oahu. As much as I know so many folks opposed the construction of the H3 when I was growing up I can’t deny that it’s an awesomely scenic drive.
Yeah but how much cargo room do you have behind the Telluride’s third row versus the Sedona. And when it comes to kids...sliding doors all day.
4,300 is right there with the competition.
The designs of both this and the Palisade are deceiving in that their boxy side profiles have you thinking they’re bigger than they actually are to compete with the full-size BOF crowd (e.g. Expedition, Tahoe etc...) when in fact they’re right there with the Explorer, Pilot, Highlander etc...
You don’t Star Wars do you?
They don’t want the folks who anted up for the first 275 to feel like they got put together. Let’s be real, those 275 buyers thought they were potentially getting a future collector’s item and they’d be pissed if other folks were allowed to buy the same car at the same price after the fact.
