If the patient is being transported by the ambulance then the patient is the legal responsibility of the ambulance crew (and by extention their medical director, sponsor hospital etc). The cops have no authority to direct how a patient is cared for, in the same way the EMT can’t poke his head in the police cruiser and

Former EMT here—restraining a patient like that is ridiculously against the rules. Most protocols won’t even allow for a patient to be transported with handcuffs on. The ambulance crew owns this one, he was their patient and they should have stood up to the cops and had him restrained properly. Every EMT is trained in

I was impressed with my 2nd gen Nest. I only use it for heat, but after one long winter it came close to paying for itself, and barring something unforseen it should return a great deal of value. I wasn’t thrilled with the 1st generation nest protect, but otherwise the integration with other home automation products

My mistake, I read your post wrong. You’re right the cloth wiring is crap, luckily a lot of the mid to higher end wiring was tinned to keep the wiring from degrading as fast. I still replace it with newer wiring any chance I get, and so should anyone reading this.
However, for the purposes of changing an outlet, most

Knob and tube (the cloth wire) was out of code after the late 1930s, so anything built after that should have armored cable or better. My house was built in 1946 and has BX cable throughout.

Sort of! If your house was built with armored BX cable it is probably grounded at the box via the cable, you may be able to safely attach a ground wire to the outlet box (please use a tester and verify the ground!). If it used older knob and tube there is no ground but you should probably upgrade that anyway.

That probably should have happened about 15 years ago

The one thing the IT department wishes you knew about before calling them: Google.com

Between this and Peapod I can finally achieve my dream of never leaving the house again!

Are you sure it’s spinning the correct direction?

Kristen Schaal anyone?

Agree completely. I have a battery powered mower, plus the edger, hedge trimmer and leaf blower with interchangeable batteries. Between them I can get my lot (about 1/5 acre) done with two batteries. Perfect system for smaller yards.

Wow. Columbia just can't figure this shit out can they?

No.

I had already forgotten Lenny Kravitz was part of the show.

I've had problems trying to do this in google calendar. A lot of shift workers work odd tours, say 4 days on 4 days off, so the recurring events options can't really account for that. I'm sure there are workarounds, but it might not be worth the time if a $2 app can do the same thing

By that logic we should let QBs throw Nerf Vortex balls. Who doesn't want to see 80 yard pass plays every snap?

Right, how dare this person express a thought that only agrees 75% with what you are saying. Where does he get off acknowledging your point and then calmly explaining his, even going so far as to qualify it as just his opinion. SOME PEOPLE.

That better be a Bose headset or he's in trouble.

I think you mean "Turkey in the Straw"
