This doesn’t seem like a bad project at all. Since the engine is out, give it a refresh and maybe a couple of mods, then slap that baby back in with a fresh clutch.

I grew up in the small Southern California town of Hemet in the 1960s. The town was Jeep crazy and trips lead by the Hemet Jeep Club might have 400+ rigs show up. Almost all were Jeeps with a once in a while Land Cruiser or Scout. The majority of the Jeeps had swapped in Chevy V-8s.
To be fair, wouldn’t the same be true of someone in Germany wanted some weird and uncommon to Germany American car? Years ago I met a guy from Norway and what he was doing was loading up shipping containers of American cars, selling them for double what they were worth in the EU, then coming back from the EU with…

When it comes to the make and model of the car, yeah I agree and vote based on what the market is for that car.But when it comes to mods, I vote based on whether the mods add/subtract value for me. In this case, it’s not the wheels that do it in, the originals are included and the ridiculous hoopties can be sold on…
On one hand, you’re right: you can change the wheels. It even comes with the stock ones. On the other hand, the fact that it wears these wheels tells you something about the current owner. And that thing it tells me is that I don’t want this guy’s truck.
THOSE wheels?? A mall-poser to the nth degree.
Is the one pictured an Icon?
if your business model only works because you use slave labor and treat employees like shit then your business model doesnt work at all.
Correct. If you decide to take ”gig” work... don’t complain about not having full benifits that a fulltime job offers and then cry to the .gov that you need them.
Disagree. Regular cab + bench seat is the only way to truck.
Same - but this is dropped too, so I don’t see the point of 4WD. This is a good, somewhat fun, truck to fill with plywood or motorcycles and tow small trailers. BUT also not for me.
I drive a ‘95 4x4 shortbed regular cab F150 5.0 XLT with the handling package, and HD rear springs. Small enough to park in town,…
That was my thought, especially when he’s showing a picture of the donor repair section, and not a close-in of the actual rusted section on the car. (Also, why did I get the feeling that doodle hanging down in that picture is important?)
Like you said, the slow and go bits are almost trivial. First thought was ditch…
Here’s a comprehensive walk-around. Makes me wish there was an electric Bronco
I don’t get it. If you buy an EV, you might be a tiny bit caring about the environment so why would you buy a Hummer ?!?
What makes it a supertruck? I don’t see a cape.
All you had to do is look in the mirror, trollboi.
Yes people can never change! They should never be forgiven a transgression! One strike and you should be jobless and homeless for eternity!
Jason, I know this feeling well. My wife and I inherited her late father’s 1969 Porsche 911T after he passed away in 1999. The car was a bit of a family heirloom. My wife’s parents bought the car new, ordered it how they wanted it not long after they were married. The car was a daily driver for a long time. Then, over…
