I lived at the Southern California drag strips in the late 1960s. During the summer we raced Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I’m sure I saw her over 100 times. She won a lot and was super popular with the fans

It’s a very nice old plain Jane truck with low miles. I find it hard to believe that it is worth $9,000, but today it probably is. NP

As I said I have swapped the engine in a few E30s. I have never owned an E30 M3 as I could get equal performance for less money by upgrading a 325i or 325is. I have lost track of all the E30 BMWs I have owned over the years. For me to buy a classic M3 I would have to win the Lotto.

You can do that and many of us have done engine swaps into E30s, but it will never be an M3. The car is an icon and in a few more years the best of them will be selling for mid six figures

I had an E36 325is and the interior was always falling apart. I don’t like the transmission. I don’t want a bright red car. Over-priced. It is low miles and the hard top is a big bonus. But I’ll pass on this one. ND

All you guys are missing one other reason to have a BMW Cabrio with the removable hard top. It’s the styling of the hard top. It just looks better than the same car as a coupe. 20 years ago I had an E30 with the removable hard top. The storage cart for the top took up some space in the garage, but I had an over-sized

I almost like this enough, but it just has a lot of miles on it. I also get the feeling it hasn’t been that well cared for so I’ll pass. ND

Fuck F1. I’m sorry, but I am not a billionaire and I couldn’t care less what they enjoy doing.

The other people making comments just don’t know what they are looking at? These are so über rare now days even in the countries they were originally sold in. I was racing a lot in Baja when these were new and down there all the time. I remember seeing one in La Paz and pulling over to look at it. In all my time in

I love this! This is one of the rarest VWs ever in the USA. I know the price seems high, but you will probably never see another one here. I’m in Northern California so I would have to deal with the smog issues. While I am upgrading the engine to smog legal specs I would also make it at least a full 2 Liters.

Nice old Chrysler, but it was a bloated POS the day it was built and isn’t any better now. ND

Rob, where are you finding all these very over-priced vehicles recently? ND

Why isn’t everyone boycotting racing in Saudi Arabia?

$4.00 package of seeds? Nope not for our garden. I’m a seed saver and most people should be also. I keep my veggie seeds in a freezer and they last for years. I’m in California and my raised boxes are already planted and growing. Some of the plants are from seeds saved from the 2016 season.

I know better than to partner up with one of these. I’ve had friends with Alfas. ND

I’ve never been a fan of British cars. Very few people are probably. For the asking price I would maybe take a chance on this car. NP

This is just another reason why the South sucks and will always suck.

I know these are popular drift cars, but I think drifting is just stupid. ND

I spotted it instantly, but in the 1970s my driveway looked like a car lot for air cooled VWs. Oh, and I worked for EMPI in Riverside. Back then we rebuilt fuel pumps and carbs of course.

I went to read the Craigslist ad and it has been removed. The guy does sound like a dick though. I generally don’t buy cars from dicks as they tend to do what dicks do and that is to fuck you over. Then I do tend to agree with everything that others have said about this car. It wouldn’t be fun to drive other than for
