If it was 100% perfect it still wouldn’t be a very good car. I drove a friend’s car back when it was new and wasn’t impressed. Typical old British car. I would never want one. ND

All those tanks are not full of gasoline. Diesel isn’t near as dangerous as gas.

We put lot of miles on an E150 camper van conversion so I like things such as this. Well not this thing with the exhaust stacks and that stupid tank on the side. You know having 60 gallons of gasoline hanging out the side is a huge fucking bomb. I wouldn’t go within 100 feet of this POS.

I bet this sells at that too high a price, but not to me. It’s 17 years old and way high miles. Maybe a shit load of work was done on it at 200,000 miles. Maybe not if there is no documentation. ND

Interesting old car, but I have very limited interest in something like this. Maybe if it was much cheaper? ND

Uck! Isn’t this $2,950 car not a $12,950 car? I loved to drive my manual trans 928s, but wouldn’t allow this thing on my driveway.

It’s a nice looking car and selling at a fair price in today’s market, but I’ll pass. Under the skin of this nice looking car it’s a very complex machine and I just don’t want to deal with it. ND

I learned how to drive in a Jeep and was cruising the dunes of Pismo Beach and Glamis when I was only 14 years old. I love Jeeps and have owned a few, but never liked these bread box things. The V-8 is nice, but the original transfer case, drivelines, axles, and suspension are probably worn out. None of those parts…

From what I have read and been told this is the mileage that problems pop up with VWs. I don’t care for the styling either. ND
