I agree with David that the older Ford Escapes are good buys. My daily driver is a loaded 2009 Escape Limited. It’s an automatic, but I don’t drive it hard. I know the CVT trans is a weak suck. It’s gutless as can be but fine for me. If I want to go faster it shares the garage with a couple of BMWs.  

I’d much rather put the $50,000 towards a new Bronco. Pass.

I love E30s and have owned a bunch of them, but I have problems with this car. First it is a modded cabriolet and that isn’t a great combo. The mileage can’t be correct. They have done springs and shocks, but not the bushings. E30s with the original sponge rubber bushings rear steer like a MF. They can be dangerous.…
