I didn’t know a pickup could be this ugly! You would have to pay me to take it

This being what RV’ers call a “toad” for towed car the mileage driven is probably way, way off. I prefer my 4X4 Escape to tow, but the Geo would be just fine to run into town in from the campground in. These weren’t all that great as a 4X4 anyway. Don’t confuse it with a Suzuki Samurai. NP

About 1980 I took an Opel in on trade. Big POS. ND

Nice car. NP

In the 1980s I had 2 TCs as work cars. They have huge trunks to carry sample cases and dead bodies if you got them. I put a zillion miles on them at 21 MPG highway. I’m glad I don’t have to drive one now! This car is priced at about double what it is worth. Nope.

As soon as these came off the boat people were racing them in the mid-1960s. Growing up Lee Midgley was one of my mentors and he raced them. This photo is him at Riverside 1968.

I’ve always liked Alfas and I’ve driven a number of them. They are fun stock and lend themselves well to a number of modifications. If this isn’t a scam then it’s a huge NP

I worked for Dan Gurney when his Eagles ruled Indy car racing. It has always been boring..........

The odds of this engine going boom are too high for me. I drove Porsches years ago and know all about PITA hard to work on cars. It’s a nice looking car, but it’s not for me. Pass.

No way.

Pass. Portland is VW Bus Central and it isn’t selling. There’s a message there. If this was a Vanagen Westy in Portland the price would be 5 times this asking price.

I’d probably use this as a parts chaser for a bit then maybe restore it.

I live in Elk Grove Cali and have seen both the new Bronco and the Sport locally. They look pretty damn good, too.

Not nice enough for that price. Where are the plates? Has this cars spent it’s life on salt covered winter roads in some shit hole state?

No dice. POS

Yes they do. But the burner is completely under the pot and not exposed. A gas BBQ burner is as wide as the BBQ.

Your buddy Meathead is maybe a Shithead. This is dangerous! When in my early 20s I tried to make French fries on a gas BBQ. That was 50 years ago and I still have burn scars on my hand. Don’t do this.

Old Rangers are great little trucks. Just the right size. I had one 25 years ago and I’d make an offer on this one today.

I live in Northern California and we call something else here reefers.

I’d have to see and drive the car. Then if it seemed like a safe buy offer $2,500 tops. There are no such things as cheap Porsches. NP
