But... but that description actually skews pretty close to their comicbook origins. Storm hung out with a rough crowd (hello Yukio?), stealing stuff. Cyclops was “Mr repressed emotions, don’t want to talk about my weird ass parents death” as was Jean who’s powers manifested after watching her friend die. Heck that’s

I love it. The cinematography looks beautiful and it has kind of that X-Men First Class vibe; dramatic performances rooted in a semi-plausible world. Not too warm on Doom yet, but I doubt Toby Kebbell would disappoint. I have a feeling this might be the sleeper hit of 2015, it will not make Avengers/Star Wars money

Totally not jealous. I'll be awaiting the trailer online like a true troglodyte.

I hear ya man, but my fears are pretty much allayed with the involvement of Chris Terrio (screenwriter) & Ben Affleck (dollars to donuts, Ben is somewhat creatively involved). Snyder would have to go out of his way to ruin BvS.

I know the general consensus is to mock Snyder's BvS, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to it. Seeing Batman & Superman on the silver screen would be one cross off my bucket list, after that is Black Panther.... then the world can burn for all I care.

It would be some freaky friday madness if Marvel announces Michelle MacLaren as director of Captain Marvel. Kinda like when Marvel/DC kept trading places with Jeph Loeb and J.M. Straczynski back in the 2000s.

I looked it up and you're right. Barring some surprise, this is going to lead to a more complicated DC universe, I didn't even think that was possible.

Not a bad idea, it might have some potential. Tossing the somewhat straight laced Gordon in the role of vigilante/Gotham's protector might produce some great writing. Also, we all know this is temporary before whatever "new" universe is introduced. So no worries.

I know I know, but a man can dream.

Black Panther same thing. I have some director meetings set in the next few weeks once [Avengers: Age of Ultron] gets out the door. And casting is already under way in many ways. Some of which you know about, some of which you don’t.

"Whedon’s first cut of Age of Ultron came in at nearly three and a half hours;"

Same here. I like what I see so far.

Haha, thanks but can't take the credit, someone on comicbookmovie.com pulled it off Netflix. They are the real MVP.

Possible first look at Daredevil costume?

I just love the fact they look geeked out as fck.

Don't get me wrong, your criticism is very valid. But man, I heard variants of the above come up so many times in so many places, that when I finally got around to seeing the movie I was quite frankly disappointed that it wasn't as bad as it was made out to be.

The rate at which this shows up, one would think Interstellar morphed into a "Care Bears in Space" adaptation with the crew proceeding to power the ship home with the power of love.

After watching Interstellar I am firmly convinced Nolan might just be a highly advanced robot trying ever so hard with each new movie to emulate/figure out human emotions. Dude can't write intense emotional scenes outside of "I am intensely obsessed with this ideal/goal/mission that will help me get closer to my

Nope, I like both of them separate. If Arrowverse was to sync up with Synder's, it will be a nightmare. Good luck trying to explain two Flash(es?) (both named Barry Allen), two Deadshots, two Harlequins etc. existing IN THE SAME UNIVERSE.

And folks thought Justin Bieber was gonna be the next Vanilla Ice. I almost feel bad for her.
