Agreed. I don't hate the guy, but he works best when he is paired with an exceptional director/co-writer. There's a reason why outside Proyas & Nolan, Goyer's screenplays have been pretty much abysmal.

"It's Official: Superman Vs. Batman Will Lead Right Into Justice League!"
All I'm going to say is stay for the end credits... Till the very end!!!
It's a LITERAL Mark Millar plot, minus the hate-fucking.... that comes up much later when Betty Ross & Banner, hulk-screw each other in the desert (courtesy of Lindelof). Comics folks.
Ha! good eye. Love me some Billy Sparks, his expression kills me everytime.
Interesting thought, I won't past it past good ol' George RR Martin. Heck, it's probably why those two (Hodor & Bran - Rocket??) have lasted so long into the series.
I had doubts but Bradley's voice works quite well. Now Groot/Vin Diesel up next, can't wait to see the 9000 ways Diesel says "I am Groot".
Haha, that got a good chuckle out of me. In the pic I posted, Cap & BP are actually training. So no worries there, Cap is safe.
I'd cry sweet hot bloody tears if Black Panther shows up in Avengers 2. A Black Panther based on Jack Kirby's style, Christopher Priest's characterization and the Ultimate costume would be pure perfection.
Nice, never read this before. Thanks.
Simons had to show how the system fails from the inside out, Season 5 (as well as #2) served that purpose well. I think both seasons get a bad rap, coz it's a sudden shift and change from the tone of 1,3&4 when you are still engrossed in the (far more engaging & complex) lives of Stringer, Omar & company.
I thought the first half of Season 5 was a bit of a drag, but the later half was just soo damn perfect & bittersweet. Especially the finale, perfectly illustrating how the cycle continues with the next generation. Little Dukie becoming the next Bubbles broke my heart.
It's the perfect get-outta-jail card. You can never go wrong with The Wire :)
The Wire
Agreed.
If we were following comicbook continuity, sure this might be a tad drastic.... but after Man of Steel, there's no way that:
a)Superman starts of as the leader of the Justice League, at least not yet.
b) Superman & Batman establish a relationship wherein they strengthen each other's weakness.
A Batman led (paranoia-fueled) Justice League forming as a response to Superman's city wrecking ability is actually kinda ingenious.
Sara Pichelli's art is absolutely gorgeous.
Well thanks, now I know Sansa is the focus of this "controversial chapter" ... I avoided the main article yet still get the spoiler slapped in my face. sigh
It was a screenplay that got adapted into a graphic novel that got adapted into a movie that got adapted back into a graphic novel. I don't know what to think anymore.
