Joss Whedon's script for Wonder Woman outright sucked and that says a lot for a character that's barely 2 dimensional/outright boring. Give me a Storm movie any day.

I'm firmly convinced folks are transferring their distaste for the Smith's nepotism to Jaden's acting abilities. I too had drunk that kool-aid and prepared myself for an absolute trainwreck of horrible acting last friday.... and was shockingly surprised to find out the kid ain't even half bad. Heck, I was impressed.

I'm just glad TV viewers can experience that empty crushing consuming pain I felt years ago. Misery loves company. Bahahahahahahahahahahaha

Yeah, the CG bird was a nice touch. I guess my overwrought expectations came into play, I anticipated a dumb cheesy fun summer flick and got a really good TV movie. It's too much of a meta-twist for me.

You review is spot on. I was pleasantly surprised by After Earth and really DID expect a trainwreck. It almost felt like Will & Jaden Smith weren't informed it was supposed to be dumb(?). That was some solid serious performance from both of 'em.
