No, if i thought Superman was an antiquated concept i would have dropped his comicbooks, movies even tv shows years ago. I love the fact he is the sole hero who does good for goodness sake, he didn't watch his parents die or see he his uncle murdered to become one. He chose to be a hero all by himself.

Bingo!!!

Please, if the world's first super being appeared, humanity isn't gonna sing kumbaya and welcome him with open hands... that's where the "darkness" comes from, supes saving people regardless of the mistrust and ultimately winning them over.

You confuse dark with evil. Try picking up "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow" considered to be amongst the best superman tales. Guess what? It's very very dark. By your logic, it must be batman or punisher in the costume. Ha.

I am not siding with the Elite. Read my post again. The entire story (and moral lesson) collapsed, the instance Joe Kelly felt he had too defend superman's morality. So he creates straw characters based on The Authority and tailors a story that's superficially splendid but ultimately shallow. Superman wins because

Sorry, that's not what makes them "idealistic", and idealistic individual is such regardless of changing circumstances or scenario, they very well feel stifled and most times weighted down. Try striking up a conversation with a cop, doctor, lawyer esp. one that works in a high risk area, NGO, pro bono capacity....

Ha. In your mind dark = batman and light = superman.

A million other heroes like who?

I am glad we are getting a "dark" superman, it's time we shed that pop culture idea of superman as a superpowered sponge bob character.

Your bias is showing, Django's not a story about a "vengeful Black person". In a weird weird way it's actually a love story, a bloody violent love story that so unfortunately occurs during the hey day of slavery.

And I'm guessing you are "that" white person with black friends, "that knows better".....

Yup, he's Disney's go-to director and after the Lone Ranger his schedule is pretty much empty. I'm guessing Disney's PR is testing the waters (as a backup) by "leaking" directors names in hopes one of them would be interested. So far not working.

Yeah, I knew it was utter BS the instant it was announced. Snyder, del Toro, Affleck and Nolan are WB's golden boys, I doubt those four are jumping studios anytime soon.

So it's all talk and no action, with feelings hurt on both sides... ultimately fueling this silly war of words. Got it!!!!!

King of the Nerds? Is TBS stuck in the 80's, BBT and now this.... NEWSFLASH: Nerds (and nerd culture as whole) are now mainstream.

Pretty sure Mindy Kaling is a White girl with a deep tan.

Is that Mitsurugi Vs Darth Vader?

So this is the James Deen, the previous jezzie article was bragging about... Not impressed.

Word!!!!!

Good!!!
