If it's true and the time travel storyline still stands, we might be getting the first live retcon unfolding before our eyes (via Days of Future Past) reestablishing continuity. I doubt I've seen a movie retcon previous events while using both new (McAvoy) and old (Stewart) versions of the characters.

Pretty sure the "dead inside or a girl" line was poking fun at male comicbook readers. The build up to the joke is "starring Human torch, Mace Windu, Iron Man Pooping, Leather Boobs and Gay Bane", basically how the stereotypical male comicbook reader would describe the ensemble. IMO, it was kinda hilarious.
You are right, however i did mention this discussion went down in a church. Most of the questions still apply to a non-being "God" because believing in the existence of a supreme being (be it an advanced alien or a super computer) still leads to question regarding creation, morality, existence, mortality etc.
