Robin is Kermit’s nephew. I expect that kind of mistake from the AV Club staff, but commenters should know better.

To be fair, what did or didn’t exist in America in the 1860s is only tangentially related to what existed in The Wild Wild West TV show. The entire gag of it was having a Western setting with the structure and gadgetry of a silly James Bond movie, and there were plenty of intentional anachronisms (television,…
Second grade is as good a time as any for Taylor to learn that there is no justice.
Ha, maybe he got it on loan from the Bad Place library. I bet Shawn had a bunch just lying around for torture purposes.
My favorite joke was Chidi taking a break to read a garbage Dan Brown book, because I decided to do the very same thing yesterday as well. Those books are fucking terrible and I love them.
Of course it’s depressing!
I feel like a huge grumpy spoil sport, but I found the Seth bit hard to even watch. I loved the finale (after a very uneven—for myself—final season) but the endless toasts especially (which apparently is an Amy Poehler thing? OK....) felt like something I think the cast deserves to do for themselves but I... didn’t…
It’s possible Lee was a Gallifreyan but not a Time Lord, as I believe the show has established that all Time Lords are from Gallifrey but not everyone from Gallifrey is a Time Lord. There was talk of “bio shielding” that could disguise Lee being non-human without him going through the Chameleon Arch. So maybe that’s…
I am more than half persuaded that Tom Baker is most peoples’ favorite classic Doctor because he had the most iconic costume, especially the scarf
Yeah, one of the Clara’s tells him to take the “broken” Tardis because he’ll have “a lot more fun.”
I feel like some sort of trumpian cruelty and sociopathy has infected the world and we are seeing it manifest in this chest thumping moment of cheering the death of two children and 7 others and forgetting that a mother and her three living children must now try to deal with this. I can’t even imagine Vanessa’s pain…
Two families lost a parent and child today (along with another family losing a dear family member, I’m sure). I don’t know how the Bryants nor their teammate’s family will cope with this. It’s just too much. It’s too much.
It just means he’s famous, and it doesn’t mean that people don’t care about the other deaths. What is wrong with you?
Honestly, I find yours a super weird take that is arguing a point that no one has even made yet. Who literally has said, “Yeah, screw those other people!”??
Not one person.
Yeah, I doubt he planned to die in a helicopter crash today.
The stream of people to interact with definitely will help. Society is collective and they will develop a collective society and exchange of ideas. And once you are tired of one civilization you can move on to another, endlessly. You won’t be limited by your own creativity. We will be able to explore other’s ideas.…
Was magenta on sale?
It’s interesting that you compare it to SCTV, generally regarded as one of the best sketch TV series ever. Even a mediocre SCTV skit is better than most other sketch shows. Now a mediocre SNL skit, or MadTV skit (just a regular one), there’s a sick burn.
Speaking of kids albums, the AVC parents do lots of field guides to parenting for tv shows, comics, etc, but I don’t think I’ve seen any/many for kids’ music - would love to get new recs in that dept, as fun as it is seeing my 4 year old belt out the frozen 2 songs again.
Hands down, the best road trip album ever. And if you and your girlfriend can effortlessly divide up the vocal parts while singing along, you marry that girl (I did).
