No, during training I let 2ft slack max, not enough to get a running start.
Guess what? My german shepherd now walks right beside me, leash or not. The whole idea is to get them to not pull you. You're walking them, not the other way around. Yes great training paid off.

Place it on your thigh and give it a try. It doesn't hurt unless the dog has a running start and gets yanked when the slack goes away. Don't give them that much slack to begin with.

Also disagreeing with your description of the pinch collar. It does not cause pain unless you’re being excessive in your (attention grabbing) tugs. You’re supposed to just give a quick, but not forceful tug, just to grab their attention just like the head collar.
Have you tried one yourself? The ends are not sharp.

In Southern California learning traffic patterns is a way of life. I know a few people who regularly rely on apps like these and they’re always late.
Not because of these apps, but because they feel they solely rely on these apps

Like this one?

Well, sharpeners like these are pretty imprecise. You would end up grinding away a lot more material than necessary, shortening the life of your knives. Sharpening by hand or with a system like the Ken Onion WorkSharp gives you a lot more consistency, producing better edges.

Sounds good!

Done that too... And when the old baggage gets snowballed with the new every new situation or simple mistake is the end of the world for that person.

On the flipside of your first point, It’s a flag for me when I find I’m the one doing all the talking. (and usually I ask more questions about her than speak about myself)

They may just be cautious/shy about giving personal info, but when I’m probing for topics they say they love and all their responses are short I

... I'll have to remember to always record the end of meets :P

Or you could, you know, not Instagram. Like a fucking adult geezer.

Adults don’t use instagram?
