Serious question because I can’t keep up with people’s opinions on the league: are people mad that they didn’t suspend Brown in the first place? Or mad that the league suspended Elliott? Or both?
I mean, Brown isn’t de-facto retired, he went to the Pro Bowl last time he played. But he is now de-facto banned for life from football. The NFL ensured no team desperate for a kicker — and those come along a couple times a season — ever tries to take part in some redemption narrative.
