WTF Alicia are your seriously kidding me? Zombies are among us and you are still going on and on about your boyfriend? I haven't been a teenage girl for a long while but I don't recall getting that hung up on a guy that I would ditch my family for him at 15 (or is she 16). She is absolutely useless as a character and…
I saw this movie yesterday. My first impressions were as follows:
I'm looking forward to the upcoming episodes but yes I do agree that the pacing seemed painfully slow. My favorite theme/idea/scene was that the drug addict ended up being the one who first encounters a walker, and, the first one to almost instinctually try to run him over and over. I loved that part while the…
I feel we missed a lot in the US. For example the "scene" where Leo lets Mattie see his past - was never aired in the US version. These sudden jumps across scenes were really noticeable and made the show feel very heavy handed.
So that means it was his father who pushed him over that ledge at the beach? Why would he do that?
I agree with your observations completely! The character and Kitsch's portrayal were probably the best amongst the group.
lol ok that's totally true!
There was a Jill and Simon story during this episode? And what about Mattie taking Anita/Mia to see her family? I'm really confused.
I agree with the review above in that this episode seems like a "filler" episode. I feel like Paul's appearance in the episode seems forced just to have him in it at all. Also, the reveal regarding Ani's past did explain a lot but I was hoping for something more complex or original.
Do you remember learning about the Lowest Common Denominator in school? Well I've created my own use for this term in regards to movies. Basically it means that an entire film's grade or value is defined by it's worst scene/dialogue. In the case of Kingsman it's the line "I'll let you fuck me in the asshole." …
I'm still a little confused on all the various conspiracies. So we have Ani's Dad who is spiritual leader who was also once connected to the Mayor and Creepy Doctor played by Rick Springfield. This Doctor may have been responsible for the death of the Mayer's wife and maybe even Ani's mother. Ani's sister Athena…
Well I remember hearing in the preview for next week's episode Ani saying to Ray "do you think everything was really resolved after the shoot out?" or something along those lines so I definitely think it's a jump to the future.
I just watched this movie on Bluray and had no idea going in that it was directed by prince-blythewood. I just have to say in anyone else's hand this film could have been very contrived. I'm not a musician and based on this and other "behind the scene" type movies about the music industry, I just don't see why anyone…
Once the innocent bystanders started getting shot (and one of them by a police officer I think) I knew the consequences were going to be bad for at least Ani but maybe everyone. It looks like they jump ahead in time starting with the next episode which is similar to S1.
