I liked the design. It looks like Christmas without Christmas throwing up on it. It's simple. What's wrong with simple?

As an Anglican, I'm pretty fucking angry it isn't purple. Let's put Christ back into the Advent penitential season, people.
I fell down the rabbit hole of reading some of the public posts on Facebook regarding this the other day and I must say, it was hard not to want to crawl into a deep black hole and weep for humanity.
I mean if they wanted to eliminate Xmas from the cup designs they probably would not have made them red? They could just use white cups with snowflakes for a winter theme. The plain red goes with increasingly minimal branding they have been moving towards. People are so stupid, if Starbucks xmas cups are something…
Remember kids: Black Lives Matter is a bunch of whiners who are looking for reasons to be offended. The real oppression is a lack of Christmas iconography on your coffee cups.
Idiots. So instead of helping people (the poor, the disenfranchised, the helpless) in a Christ-like way, they’re wasting energy on CUP DESIGN. Seriously, the man I’m sure didn’t give a crap about his birthday. He was too busy helping his fellow beings with love and comfort to worry about graphic design and birthday…
brags about “pranking” Starbucks by having them write “Merry Christmas” as his name on the cup. He also flashes a gun he brought into the coffee shop
I don’t know. They may have a point. Those cups don’t look anything like the ones Jesus drank his Gingerbread Lattes out of.
It’s a cup.
... You have got to be fucking kidding me. These people will find outrage anywhere.
“some Christian customers feel the coffee chain is oppressing their religion.”
Holyfuck, these ignorant asshats just need to go the fuck away. Amen.
The surest indicator that Christians are not, in fact, a persecuted group in America? That they’re able to spend their days complaining about shit like this instead of running for their lives.
By the Spirits, Christians, are by far the whiniest of all religions.
I’m sorry, how does feeling empathy and expressing compassion for those involved in this situation hurt anyone? You know what hurts people, regularly and consistently, and is an enormous barrier to making the necessary changes to prevent situations like these? Attitudes like yours.
I’m not. Raising a typical child can be hard. Raising four children can be hard. Raising any child in poverty can be hard.
Are you denying that it’s a lot harder in every way to raise a severely disabled child without any support?
Where did you get the idea that commenters here think that killing a child is okay?
Rrright, because posters here are in the “killing your children is ok” camp.
I hope you know that people like you are part of the problem.
