Came for the reference to his cover-up of the Laquan McDonald murder in order to get reelected.  Leaving satisfied.

Shut the fuck up TomatoFace.

This is the statement of a man who is used to getting handjobs from big business. This statement that was emphasized by Katherine makes it clear:

This is one of the most on-brand possible hires the Atlantic could make. Other than maybe poaching Chait or somehow finding yet another never-Trump conservative.

Lol. Fuck off.

👏👏👏

I liked this part:

Democrats need to prove to them that they know the difference between right and wrong, and that begins with owning the terms accountability and responsibility. Democrats need to be the ones demanding that those who fall short, no matter how privileged, be made to answer for their own decisions.

I mean, at least he’s not joining the Democratic rat race. Yet.

This is correct. A bar near me opens early on Sundays for the soccer crowd and they serve an English breakfast. The beans are the main draw for me and despite not being a big soccer fan, I go at least twice a month just for them.

If they can win a majority and pass real campaign finance reform, that seems to be the only way to enact the necessary change.

I MEANT WHAT I SAID AND I SAID WHAT I MEANT!!

I guess I have to be that guy, but my kids teacher invited the entire class to her ceremony two years ago (they were third graders).  It was very cute.

“With a 49 - 39 percent favorability rating, former Vice President Joseph Biden is the only presidential contender, Democrat or Republican, with a clear positive score. Favorability ratings for other Democrats are negative or mixed:

41 - 48 percent for Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont;
32 - 41 percent for Sen. Elizabeth

For those that might be curious what their preferred candidates favorability rating is.

Yeah, baked beans is the sin, not the bean the sinner.

Every president who has won in the past handful of decades has taken money from Wall Street and you can throw Tech, Pharma, and Healthcare in there as industries that are funding both parties.

Dude, you’re basically Baracka Obama’s opposite number. You know that, right?
